Helloooo Malaysia! It feels so great to be back. Today I arrived in Kuala Lumpur and dove head first into Fabulosity when I was lead by a police escort to an event hosted by E! Asia celebrating the emergence of the modern woman in Asia.
Held at The Gardens Hotel, the event was highlighted by oh-so-luxe decor AND a packed house full of progressive and upwardly mobile young women. I was so overwhelmed by all the love and support in the room, that i had to grab a camera to share the vibe with all of you.
I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to finally meet so many fabs that I’ve spoken with for years on twitter. Some even brought their KLS Barbie dolls and copies of Fabulosity to be autographed.
Afterwards, in my green room, I had a private interview with E! Asia where I discussed emerging roles of women in Asia and the delicate balance of reconciling tradition vs. a craving for the agency of modern women. We want it all. I loved the interview and focus.
Later I met with the stunning Rohana Rozan, an entertainment executive pioneering the conversation of what women in Asia want. She not only inspires me but so many professionals in Asia and worldwide.
Today was special for so many reasons and I’m delighted to have shared it with you. See you all at the #KLStwtUP tomorrow!!
