In 2003, Michelle debuted on Broadway in Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA and ha ssince starred in the national tour of The Color Purple (2007), on the West End, Broadway and Chicago productions of Chicago (2009-2010), originated the lead in What My Husband Doesn't Know (2011), played Sandra Isadore in Fela! and most recently reprised her lead in AIDA at The Muny theatre - the world's largest open air theatre, seating over 10,000 people.
