Katy is probaly the most favorable. The other two don't write their music. Britney lip sings almost every performance in the past years. Rihanna's quantity over quality style albums.

Britney is like the definition of a puppet, so I don't think she's respected at all. Plus, she lip-syncs on a regular basis, and is constantly made fun of for that.

After the reunion with Chris Brown, Rihanna has lost most of the respect the public has for her. I know it's her personal life, but people can't be completely objective, and they will disdain her music for that as well

I think Rihanna is more respected because the general public doesn't know that she just pays for her music. I respect Katy a little more since she writes her stuff even though she doesn't has a better voice and well, Britney is my fave of thoose.

I agree. I voted for Rihanna as well. Though I will say the general public is well aware about Britney's lack of involvement in the creative process of her music. It's been that way since day one. Nothing has changed.

Just giving my reason. Britney defiantly isn't respected musically and Rihanna isn't as well since a lot of people don't like her but do admit she has some catchy/club worthy songs. Not saying Katy is liked either but her first album shows more musical talent than her second and more than any of Rihannas in my opinion

Well, Britney was always seen as an untalented puppet, and with her losing her ability to dance and having a breakdown, she lost what little respect she had left.

I don't think people realize Katy is involved in her music, but I think they respect her body and her feisty personality, so that helps her case, even if it's not directly related.

I think people also think Rihanna is a puppet like Britney, but she also has an edge to her that people find intriguing. With her hip-hop credibility and her being the female artist most likely to appeal to straight men musically, I'd say she wins, even if Katy is more qualified artistically.

Most of it anyway. I mean, Rihanna might have been more respected for the reason you stated, if all the Chris Brown incident didn't happen. She's too much of a joke in public eyes now to be respected.

Britney has NEVER been musically-respected by the General Public. She's synonymous with lip-syncing and autotune.

Rihanna's lack of involvement is less known, but still apparent enough to give Katy a slight edge. Whenever Katy goes out with just a guitar, she gets points from the public.

Britney has tons of input when writing her music.
