It's good to see though, but a bit funny to have a thread on it. And to answer the question, yes, this trend will definitely continue. Before you know it 90% of people will approve of gay and lesbian relations.

While I wouldn't have used the word bad, I was hoping that someone would mention this! I don't want to speak too much on this, but I feel as if there's a trend here that goes beyond supporting actual issues in favor of supporting a type of liberal image that's being promoted in the media.

I am sure there are reasonable Republican people but with many saying stuff like gay people shouldn't be able to marry or there should be a bill making church attendance mandatory, this should not come as a surprise. The part of the country I live in is still so conservative however

Don't wanna go through the math, but I think a sample size of 1,000 is pretty solid and standard when it comes to publishing these sort of reports.

(note: obviously assisted suicide for medical reasons is completely different and I fully support it)

It's very noticeable among my generation (18-25 yr olds). The majority of people I meet are pretty liberal. Conservative is the exception now.
