Artpop unfurtunatly flop HARD for Gaga standars selling only 250k in the US and 700k WW very poorly in comparation to her last album that sold 1 million in the US and 2 million worldwide just in the first week , begining with the release of lead single
Applause that fail to reach commercial success even with HUGE promo and create in some way a rivality against
Katy Perry.
Both lead single and album got a very divided opinion of music critics and general people, she release other songs from the album
Do What You Want feat.
R Kelly which is expected to be the second single still with no music video as well as
Venus and
Dope, no good news this year for the current
"queen of pop" apart than maybe a
performance during The Voice finale with Legend X (Christina Aguilera) another big artist that has flop during her last eras.
