all atrlers are pop fans; Beyoncé & Mariah are very exceptions on ATRL. they do actual R&B songs.

Beyonce doesn't care about if you'll like the melody or not, her music is thought provoking (Except B'Day which you all love because that was a shallow album for the bops).
