Discussion: Why is Ariana serving longevity this era more than her peers

I mean, DW debuted at #10. never left the top 20 for 16 weeks and even had the nerve to repeak higher than its debut 12 weeks later.

Also, she's killing it in radio 16 weeks after its release. Expected to probably go double platinum on streaming and platinum on digital sales alone...

Why is she serving so much longevity?

Plus second single Into You is clearly not leaving the top 50 despite not being sent to radio and given an official solo promotional push...

Is this because of talent?

DW's longevity in the top 20 isn't impressive at all.

An example of impressive longevity would be longevity in the top 10 like the top 5 hits Good For You or Same Old Love had for example.

To compare- in its 18th week DW is only at #15 and expected to fall next week while in its 18th week SOL was in the top 5
