Poll: Most Iconic City: NYC or London?

I'm curious what people think here... (although I think most people on ATRL are American so the results will be skewed I'm sure).

I'm American but I'm studying abroad in London and I love it! Only ever been to New York for like 1 day though.

Is there a more iconic city than either? Paris? Rome?

Anyway, New York. Biased since I was born there but no city gives me the same feeling as New York does.

How can you say New York City when London is the financial capital of the world, with a history spanning THOUSANDS of years?

New York is such a young city with no history and little culture IMO.

Taking away the movies all based in NYC and saying NYC has no cultural impact.
