I mean, they've been using the EXACT same engine since the original tekken all the way to TTT2. The decline in the games' is undeniable. Also, judging by the sales of T6 and TTT2, it seems like people is getting tired of the series

I believe so. I've played a few of the games throughout my life, and I easily noticed a drop in quality when I played TTT2. That, and people on gamefaqs seem to bash this series A LOT.

I feel you. Even when i tried to get into TTT2, i felt like i was playing some dated trash.

It's too bad, i hope for great characters like Paul and Christie to cross over to relevant fighters like Street Fighter

No. But Mortal Kombat has had 3 shows. The most recent being a live action web series. Plus 2 movies.. Not to mention the reboot was greenlit.

To bad Tekken hasn't had the longetivity and impact as MK

Yes i have, SF4 and SSF4 had arcade version and still moved millions of copies for their home-versions.
