Bey's perfectly right though... People need to be in the moment instead of sticking cameras in her face. They're there to see her with their own eyes, not through the lenses of their camera phones.

Anyway... I get what she's saying but as a concert-goer I'm guilty of this as well - it's like 4, 5 months, a year down the road the memories become a blur and these footages will refresh the memories.

Exactly! I usually only record during certain parts and then the rest of the time i'm bopping with everyone else.
I see nothing wrong with taking a picture of the show now if you're just sitting there taking pics then yeah.
no. people sit their recording the performance and watching it from their cell phone screens. I went to see Rihanna last weekend and my bf did that for her entire show. So annoying.
You should see the artist in person and enjoy them, not from a freaking cell phone screen. I hate that so much. You might as well stay home and watch Youtube videos.

She definitely was right though, but for some people this might be the only chance to see her and it's understandable that they would want to keep it forever.
