I saw this trending on facebook, and I've tried answering it but its so hard. I'm slowly understanding the question but my head still hurts.. Can you answer it?
Singapore: Math Problem From Country Attracts Global Attention After It's Shared Online
The logical reasoning question appeared on a test for 14-year-olds taking part in a math competition. "Hello Singapore" television presenter Kenneth Kong first shared the problem on Facebook.
fff wtf not this question going worldwide
I personally was too lazy to spend time to slowly figure it out but i read the solution and it makes sense i guess
Eh, it is very complicated indeed. What bothers me is that in the problem, shouldn't it be "...but I know that Bernard does not know either" instead of "does not know too"? Any grammar people here?
This is for ****ing 14 year olds? They wouldn't even put this on an SAT/ACT
I thought it was saying that she told Albert and Bernard each the month and day of her birthday so it made no sense to me that they wouldn't know, the solution makes sense tho. If it was properly worded I bet I would've gotten it it's really not that complex, just confusing.
Either I cant read or that TERRIBLE English.
I thought she told them both the day and the month, not one person the day, and the other person the month. It wouldve been pretty easy to figure out from there.
