This tablet is 10x more powerful than my laptop. So in a way with the Surface, you get what you pay for. And a USB? You know what that means?

More expansion

WiFi included, Microsoft Office.

And the keyboard comes with it too

(or do you have to buy it? ) That means this tablet will act as a FULL Laptop

I'm slayed.

I just hope the prices are very reasonable.

The Surface is a full laptop in a tablet. I guess iPad fans just want toys, and not the big guns

You're going to have to buy one eventually. Because tablet is quickly replacing laptops, and because it's a tablet, it's lightweight and much more convenient to bring along in school. Plus it will not overheat unlike the iFire.

The Surface. I LOVE the Metro UI, because I've used a Windows Phone before and it's really one of the best ones out there.

I have an iPad too though, but now Apples products are just stale.

Do you want to buy the REAL DEAL that you can install any games you want, any applications you want, plug in anything because of a USB port, and play a very powerful game like Diablo 3 while in class?

I just read that the video processor in the Surface is powerful enough to even play games like Diablo 3.

So... what do you think?

The iPad has MS Office but no USB Port.

The Surface on the other hand has usb ports plus it can run PC games.

And yeah I will get one eventually, but it's not on my list yet due to my perfectly functioning Windows laptop (

) and lack of funds to splash out on a Surface.

I love, love, LOVE the flexibility of the Surface though. As previously mentioned - the iPad is becoming old. Rapidly.

The iPad is trying to be a tablet, the Surface is trying to be a laptop.

If you want a Surface get an Ultrabook, the Surface is worthless and for its price its a waste, its better to get an Ultrabook. Many of them are thinner and better plus lighter weight.

The iPad is a tablet, it does everything a tablet should do. If you can't afford an iPad there's the Nexus 7 or the iPad 2 or 1 which is far cheaper.

A tablet is not a laptop replacement, and it never will be.
