I don't think it'll last another 36 weeks on the chart. Maybe 20-25 at best, so no.

Another 30+ weeks is not likely at all.

That means the song would have to stay in the top 50 until 2014 so that's highly unlikely.

How on earth did people endure this gimmicky crap for so long?

Jason Mraz's song was, indeed, a special case. I don't think that chart run could ever be duplicated.

It was a cultural phenomenon. It was even promoted during the 1996 Presidential Election

As good of a song it is, I don't think it will.

I mean the song is a monster, seriously one of the biggest songs in history, 30 more weeks, uhmm I don't know, for sure they have another 23 weeks safe let's see what happens, if they breaks the record, OMG, the complete slayge
