I know it's crappy, but it's because it's new and lots of albums came out this week or last week so it explains why it's the same artists. Hopefully some will fall off next week. 
Rules/Guidelines:
- All chartings based off plays from my last.fm throughout week.
- Songs released within past 6 months can chart; if it's 7 months - 1 year old it will be regarded as "Recurrent", meaning half of it's plays will be deducted before it's allowed to chart.
- If a song is from an album older than 6 months / 1 year; it can chart if it was released a single in the past time frame.
- Remixes count towards an original's charting. However, only half the plays count. If I played "Example (Dr.Luke Remix)" 8 times, then 4 plays would count towards the original. This is to keep songs from skyrocketing too high when remixes are released.
- An artist has a limit of 3 songs allowed to chart. If Beyonce got 5 songs with enough plays to chart; only the top 3 could chart. However, the huge amount of popularity would reflect on the albums charts.
- Albums of all ages are allowed to chart on albums chart; to keep it more active.
- When two or more songs have the same amount of plays; the one with the highest position on last week's chart gets the highest position.
- Unreleased/leaks are NOT allowed to chart; due to the fact they aren't really new songs. If it's a leak from an upcoming album or an upcoming single, then it can chart since it technically is a new song.

I'm thinking of adding a formula to have my own chart certify songs Gold, Platinum, etc.
Such as:
#1 Song - 500,000 (each week)
#2/3 - 400,000
#4/5 - 300,000
#6/7 - 200,000
#8/9/10 - 100,000
500,000 may seem much for 1 week, but think about it this way - if a song tops the chart for 2 weeks then falls off it can have a Platinum Certification. That makes sense a #1 song would have Platinum instead of something like 100,000 sold. If a song is #1 for some time, then slowly falls off and goes 3x Platinum or something it would be a reasonable certification for it. If a song was #1 for like 10 weeks and was that big 5,000,000 would seem right enough.
