Her image and music/singles aren't as accessible as Taylor and Adele.

She's been around for 18 years.

She's a black female with a racy image and has been around 18 years

Having the ability to sell =/= having power.

Beyoncé has the power to do so much that Taylor and Adele can't. So many people can SELL but have no POWER. The two are not synonymous.

Because Beyonce is much more of a celebrity rather than artist (I mean, she is an artist, but people view her more as a celebrity) - she inspires all walks of life, especially with the women.

Key word. Celebrity. Artist.

Also ADELE lets the music do the talking, like we barely see her in tabloids about her personal life etc etc.

Beyoncé power is not only music wise. She's like an entity for some people. Adele is the queen of the GP, so her power isn't stable but it's unmatched too. Taylor is just the cute girl that some part of the industry praises and "respect" because of her success.

Power to do what, exactly? No shade, just asking. There's the Friday release date I guess, but besides that...?

Record sales doesn't automatically equate to being. Ask artists like MC hammer, backstreet boys, Alanis Morsette and Vanilla Ice who sold boatload of albums in the 90s. You need more than the ability to sell albums, which she's done for the past 18yrs+ in the music game and counting. Beyoncé has impact, influence, credentials, respect, critical acclaimed and experience. Something most of these new gerls don't have.

Because Adele and Taylor aren't good enough for her, she's striving for that legend X type of power.

I agree Beyonce is more of a celebrity powerhouse who makes money from her brand more so than her music. Kinda like J-Lo. But with far more music talent and credibility.
