ALJ junior Kara Alongi, 16, tweeted "There is somone in my hour ecall 911" around 6 p.m. Sunday night and is now missing.
Clark Police are searching the area and talking to friends of Alongi but so far have not located her. A county canine unit has been called to assist in the search.
A friend of the family says Alongi's home on Hall Drive shows signs of a break-in and that her family was at her younger brother's sporting event at the time.
UPDATE, 11 P.M.: Alongi is still missing and Clark PD has issued the following Amber Alert: "At 6:12pm the missing, Kara Alongi stated on Twitter that 'There is someone in my hour ecall 911.' Indications of a break-in reported present at the scene. Missing was home alone. Again, missing is Kara Alongi. 5ft3in aprox 105lbs. Blonde hair, hazel eyes. Last seen wearing a blue Aurthur L. Johnson HS (ALJ) sweatshirt"
Why would she tweet instead of sending a text to someone important, like a mother or a father?...
I feel so bad that she was abducted and I hope she is found immediately!
But the stupidity of humanity is really starting to repulse me.
That's horrifying. I hope they find her.
