Rules and Description
1) Songs from prior to 2016 may chart, but only in the Top 50 of the chart (a Billboard tea [thanks, Jackson!]). Meaning, positions 51 - 100 will not include recurrent tracks and songs, but positions 1 - 50 may.
2) Remixes, live versions etc. all count towards the original version of a song, but not the album.
3) Albums, as you can see, will not be ordered by play count, but by my subjective analysis of quality. I had a lot of albums from 2015 carry over insane recurrent plays and 2016 was a low-key **** year for music which limited the scope of albums I got to this year.
4) I'll include certifications under each item. A Platinum cert for songs is 10 plays while for artists and albums it's 100 plays. Gold follows the same rule for each, divided by 2. These reflect all-time plays to show where they fit in my overall taste, and to avoid redundancy with the yearly play total.
