No sales really every shock me the only time I was legit shocked was when ARTPOP debuted with lower-than-expected sales.
Pff I don't believe you. No one should've been surprised by those numbers, people only wanted to act surprised to make her look worse or because they were so deluded they forced themselves to believe she would sell 400k. I think any logical person with a brain saw it coming.

It was always obvious she was going to perform much lower than Born This Way and towards the end of that era I already knew people would throw that in her face for the following era. But once this era got off to a rocky start with Applause being branded a ho hum "comeback" even though it remained in the Top 10 for over a month and everyone sort of already branding her a has-been, it was so incredibly obvious she was going to pull the numbers she did. People just like creating reasons to spit in her face,
ARTPOP sales..Everyone was shocked. There was so much promo for it and then it bombed first-week. Then G.U.Y was released and it killed the era. (Still bop to it)
