Most unfair male beauty standards have to do with race as far as I can see it. People either want you to be White or kinda off-White/tan with Black features, but not Black though.

I understand this, but men being pressured into beauty standards is a relatively new development, where as women's beauty standards have been around for centuries. It's nice for the guys to get press now and then.

I have a great new understanding of this after watching "The Adonis Factor", of course geared to the gay community but it really hits the standards that a lot of men feel like they need to be in order to be considered good looking.

South Africa, Nigeria, the Philippines, and that future guy tho. Damn. And also I'd literally marry the UK guy on the spot.



I do agree it says some pretty not-okay things about modern beauty standards, though - especially with regard to race, like in South Africa.
