Celeb News: Nicole on GRL: 'Nobody can replace Pussycat Dolls'

The singer told the Daily Star: "Nobody could ever replace the Pussycat Dolls and GRL were never ever going to be the new Pussycat Dolls.

"They are very pop. Dr Luke is involved and they are five different gorgeous girls doing their own thing.

"They're adorable but the Dolls set-up was very different. It was a unique time and nothing else had ever come out like that before."

Scherzinger expressed her hope that Pussycat Dolls will reform one day, explaining: "The Dolls hold a special place in my heart.

"Nobody can touch us. Hopefully we'll get back together."

The 36-year-old also revealed that Prince is a "good friend" of hers, adding: "He's always wanted me to sing more soul rock."

Well they're not supposed to be. That's why they're now G.R.L. instead of being the new generation of the Dolls or whatever. I loved PCD and I love G.R.L., so what Nicole has said is right. They had their time and now G.R.L. are having theirs.

She IS the Beyonce of PCD (at least talent and performer-wise), the only thing she's missing is the personality. I prefer Nicole's personality over Beyonce's - I still don't feel like I know who Beyonce is, she's very mysterious.

Nicole comes across as goofy, bubbly and likeable, despite all those rumours I've heard about her being a bitch.
