A lot of you might not agree with me on this, but hear me out. Without a doubt, I feel as though "Ghost" is definitely the BEST song on PRISM, lyrically and melodically. While it isn't really a standout track that everyone can appreciate, it for sure stands out as the most mysterious and unique. The song has such a haunting vibe without sounding TOO dark. I really love the lyrics and the chorus especially. I absolutely love screaming out, "AND NOOOW YOU'RE JUST A GHOOOST!!1!" It MUST be a single somewhere down the line.
"I'm gonna love myself the way I want you to love me"
One of the many midtempos on Katy's latest, and THE worst. Like... so cringeworthy. The song is uneventful and I skip it every time I listen to the record. Not catchy. Very unoriginal. The true definition of FILLER. A lot of you would probably want me to say International Smile, but that song B0PS. Y'all need to chill.
Stay tuned... ARTPOP is up next. You should know how much I love that album.
Let's face it, Gags is not doing great this era. While ARTPOP is a step up from the not so well recieved BTW, the era still underwhelmed. But it has a few enjoyable tracks including Do What U Want. The song is great. By far, the best and least polarizing song from the album. I'm glad it's a single (even though Gaga is ****ing up the era by not releasing the video yet). It's a pop song with throwback R&B vibes with the sexy beat and the addition of the King of R&B R.Kelly. It has a double meaning that is not too in your face. It just makes you wanna sway and dance like a hoe, and that's what I enjoy about it. That's what we want from Gags!
