Wendy: I like Nicki; everybody has hiccups in their career. I didn’t really care for her Madonna inspired performance. I didn’t care for the red robe she wore, I didn’t care for the performance, I wish that she had just done ‘Superbass’ like she should have done in the beginning.
Sam: Chris Brown and Rihanna reuniting?
Wendy: She’s no angel; he’s definitely no angel. I like Rihanna, but there’s something very devilish about Rihanna. Like, if I had a daughter I wouldn’t want her to be a fan of Rihanna – the person. The music is cool, but I’m able to separate the two. Chris Brown, the kid’s got a great voice and he’s very very talented but very weird and very toxic to himself. So the two of them together is the perfect match (laughs). It’s a dangerous match but it’s perfect.
Sam: (Laughs!) The final one, Ciara’s comeback….
Wendy: I adore Ciara! She’s immensely talented, but she can’t figure out where to fit into a “Rihanna world” and there lies the problem. The world is ruled by Rihanna and Lady Gaga at this point. Beyonce’s gonna have a hard time coming back trying to fit in too. Ciara doesn’t stand a chance if this album doesn’t produce three singles that everybody is dancing to. In which case, she needs to just find herself a rich boyfriend, get herself pregnant and be a socialite…
Did she really compare Ciara's and Beyonce's star power and level of relevance?Lol ok.
Beyonce can kick arses any time she wants to.No Rihannas or Gagas are stopping her.Her audience isn't even exactly same as Rihanna's.One performance at the VMAs and she can steal all the attention. She's a real star.
How is that a stereotype? She says the same thing to white women on her show. She's even said it to men. She congratulated Natalie Portman's man for poking a hole in the condom and trapping her.
