I bet you thought this was gonna be some kind of serious discussion.

Have you ever done this to your hair? Routinely brush your hair in a certain pattern, apply grease/pomade and sleep in/wear head coverings/du rags to produce this waved pattern?

I used to have my hair like this and so did many Black boys at my school. I stopped earlier this year and just let my **** grown into an Afro. I cut it off and now I have to start this arduous process again to return my hair to its waved gL0Ry.

I have natural waves. If I actually cared about my hair like that, I could get this. I just prefer keep my hair short simple and clean.

Besides, I have traces of indian hair so its hard to get those waves....it comes out differently

Most of my friends and all 3 of my older brothers do this ALL THE TIME.

It's not as bad as when they were in high school but they still do it a lot.

No but random people will come up to me a touch my hair and say I have good hair. It's so akward most if the time it's guys who do it.

Anyway, I've done it once a few years back. I think it's too much work. My hair is just growing now because I got tired of getting it cut and having the same shape up as everyone else.

No not necessarily. You can do it manually as I said in the OP. plenty of people do that. Am jealous of those with natural waves tho.
