This is an idea that came to my mind a few hours ago. I think this would be really fun and a way to encourage members to become more active on ATRL. This is the
Posting Industry Association of ATRL (PIAATRL). Here, you may become certified based on the number of posts you have contributed to ATRL, much like the RIAA certifies albums. Here are the milestones we will be using:
(Sorry to keep changing this around, but members complained about the raised milestones. What you see below are the finalized stats - they will not change again.)
500 posts: Gold certification
1,000 posts: Platinum certification
2,000 posts: 2x Platinum certification
3,000 posts: 3x Platinum certification
4,000 posts: 4x Platinum certification
5,000 posts: 5x Platinum certification
6,000 posts: 6x Platinum certification
7,000 posts: 7x Platinum certification
8,000 posts: 8x Platinum certification
9,000 posts: 9x Platinum certification
10,000+ posts: Diamond certification (10x, 11x, 12x Platinum, etc. still used)
You must apply in this thread to be certified. I'm not going to track every member down for their post count. There are only a few rules for applications:
1. You may only apply for certification once per week. If you think you're about to reach a new milestone, wait until you reach it before you apply. For example, if you apply for Gold certification at 980 posts and reach 1,000 before the week's certifications are announced on Sunday, then too bad, so sad - you'll have to wait until the next week for Platinum certification.
2. You may only apply for certification if you have reached a new milestone since your last certification. For example, if you were certified Gold last week and have not yet reached 1,000 posts, you may not apply to be certified for this week.

Username:
Post Count: exact number at time of posting, please, don't estimate. It's your choice whether or not you want to count the application post
Certification: Gold, Platinum, etc.
THE OFFICIAL CERTIFICATION POST WILL BE ON SUNDAY OF EACH WEEK UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED. YOU MAY APPLY AT ANY TIME, BUT ONLY MEMBERS WHO APPLY THE DAY BEFORE THE CERTIFICATION POST IS MADE WILL BE CERTIFIED FOR THAT WEEK.
