Where did that Strangeness and Charm performance came from!
"I'm moving toward the intensity and passion of heaven and hell."
My body is so ****ing ready for this.
And thanks for keeping us updated.
It's actually been out for quite a while now. If you want the best quality, try searching for it as Strangeness and Charm (Live at the Hammersmith Appolo) - or something along those lines. The song was released on the final re-packaging of Lungs, entitle Between Two Lungs, I'm sure you could find a download link somewhere.

General Info about the Second Album
Quote:
Florence + the Machine have started making arrangements to begin working on their follow-up to 2009′s Lungs in April. Band guitarist Rob Ackroyd told gibson.com, “the second album has begun with Paul Epworth [who also recently produced Adele's 21] and there is talk of booking out Abbey Road for a month in April/May to record.”
"The guitar is coming back – I've gone full circle!" she joked, before adding, "It's not a 'Kiss With A Fist' type of guitar sound though… it's much stranger than that."
"The second album feels like a release – I've got new ground to cover – whereas the first one was really scary. The next year is really just me moving on and creating something new. It's like, you get given a clean slate to do whatever you want, so what isn't there to like about that?" -- Florence Welch
"The first one was animal and anatomical and this one is chemical and elemental but my thought process changes so quickly from one song to the other so I can never say what the whole theme of the album is going to be." -- Florence Welch
"I don't think of myself as religious, but on the next album I'm moving toward the intensity and passion of heaven and hell, revelation and retribution, that kind of battle. The first album was more about flesh. This is about light." -- Florence Welch
Here is an extract from an article from The Daily:
Jamie xx (né Jamie Smith) isn’t your typical 21-year-old. For starters, the London-bred producer and member of “The xx” has a Mercury Prize at home. And while his pals are probably tossing back pints at university, Jamie exhibits the sort of tireless work ethic and hustle on par with Kanye West. He was recently in the studio with Florence + the Machine and is on a constant tear remixing tracks (UK chart-toppers Adele and Florence + the Machine) and making beats for other musicians (most recently Drake).

Rumoured first single with Drake:
Quote:
By the looks of an article posted on the Daily Mail website it seems that Flo and Drake are rumoured to collaborate in the studio.
While Florence's appearance during the gig came as a surprise for the hundreds of fans at the event, she has remained friends with Drake since they met at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles last year.
And now it's claimed the pair have made plans to collaborate on a new track, which will be the first single from Florence And The Machine's follow-up to their debut album Lungs.
Although it seems unlikely that it will be her first run up single it is perhaps that the track may still happen.
Strangeness and Charm (Live)
Paper Massacre (DEMO)
Her tour with U2 ends during the beginning of July. Hoping for a release by the end of the year! *crosses fingers* I will update once a week with news on the album, that way the thread won't get closed! [/FONT]
