Welcome once again sistern on ATRL to another year end countdown! This will be my 2nd annual attempt at sharing with you all my personal favorite songs, albums and artist of the year. Hopefully this time around I actually finish my countdown....or at best finish one list After much consideration I've managed to to create list of my favorite K/C/J-pop songs, Western Songs, and overall favorite albums from 2013 as well as picking my first ever AOTY year which I will be counting down their top best 20 songs IMO
Comment:The first of the many 125 foreign songs to make this years list goes to none other then to Japans upcoming queen ( ) Beckii Cruel and her guilty pleasure song "Danjo". Lyrics wise this song is utter **** talking about lining up a class in boy girl order however it's one of those songs that are instantly catchy and stick you with you for weeks. Also it helps that it's one of few Japanese songs I can sing along to effortless
Comment:Famous for ripping off the styles of many established K-pop artist, Candy Mafia stuck to their brand with their single Cliché copying Girl's Generation, 4Minute and a bit of Nicki. The song however is a major generic bop and their English pronunciation throughout it is spot on.
Comment:I discovered this flawless party anthem while perching on the J-pop thread one day . I don't know much about MAX as a whole but Tacata is a major bop that gives me mr.saxobeat vibes and the MV for it definitely adds to the song's uplifting vibe especially them colorful scenes
Comment:The honor of first K-pop song making this list goes to Hong Ji Young and her song Boogie Man. Another gem I found by accident just roaming around Youtube, the song is the perfect blend of trot and disco and her voice fit's in so perfectly, it's a cute lil bop but so underrated
