Britney's hot new single Make Me has an iTunes banner, is under Hot New Music, and Britney has a Spotlight of all her albums on the main page. Pair all that with its huge radio deal, plus the trendy rapper, this should be a recipe for success. But it's still not top 20 on iTunes.
It's way better than Pretty Girls and her team/fans were hyping up her comeback beforehand with interviews and performances (recently a medley at the Billboard Awards).
The banner only went up last night and it's gotten a few green updates since. There has been zero promotion outside of that and her tweeting a few links to the song. It's already obliterating Pretty Girls on streaming and radio and still has a music video and possible promo performance(s) to come.
