This is a bit sell-outISH, if she really loves the music she makes she would release it without worrying about its popularity

At least she's honest - I knew Air Balloon wasn't her and is proper ****. It doesn't sound like something Lily would release.

Then again, she recorded the song, she did the music video. She was the one who wrote the song

She's pulling an Avril Lavigne (Goodbye Lullaby) situation here .Saying "my record company forced me to make fun songs for the singles only, the rest of the album is more me, more mature", yet c'mon Lily. You're the one who wrote them. You could've made an upbeat radio friendly song that was still authentic.

Air Balloon and L8 CMMR are both dreadful tracks and a stain to Lily's amazing discography. I'm still not convinced to buy Sheezus but I like Our Time and Hard Out Here.

Yet all the singles from her prior albums are excellent, why would she only be able to release **** now? Yeah I'll believe that there are "better" songs when I hear them.

Unless she's independent I doubt her label lets her release stuff they know will flop.

Most artists well established or otherwise have the same problem so this isn't exactly a surprise
