First, I'd like to give a huge hand to JerseyBoy for keeping the game alive while I was banned for the month of August. (Sadly my birthday month.) He is gladly giving the game back to me and I am gladly accepting it.

Now you may be asking, why is it Version 2.0? Well, Version 1.0 was great and it drawed in a HUGE crowd for an ATRL game. However, in Version 2.0, we are going to bring this game to a whole new league.

First order of business:

Graphics
Okay, it's nothing special, but I have made up some good graphics for the game.




They will appear on the top and bottom of each round. The video caps will update at the end of every six months. (This will take affect on January 1.)

Scores
Probably the most important difference between version 1 and 2 will be the pointing system. Instead of 5 points if you give me the artist and 10 points if you give me song and artist, we will do something completely different. If you get video 1 correct, then you get 1 point. Video 2 = 2 points, 3 = 3, etc. You only get half credit if you just send me the artist. So Video 1 = .5 and Video 2 = 1, 3 = 1.5, etc. So the most points you can earn is 210 instead of 200.

OVERALL SCORES WILL BE RESET UPON STARTING OF VERSION 2.0.

Themes
Instead of every five round having a theme, now it'll just be randomly thrown in there. For example, round one will be themed, but I might not put another theme in until round 7 or 8.

List of Video
I will now keep a list of videos posted at the beginning of the thread that have been used. No video will be used more than once, so if you think you know the video, but aren't too sure it hasn't been used before, just go into the list. If it was there, you're wrong, if it isn't in there, you might be right, and should probably send it in.

There is only one more rule I'd like to point out.

I WILL ONLY ACCEPT MULTIPLE GUESSES UP TO 4 (FOUR) TIMES!

Also, you don't have to guess every video. Just sending me one video improves your score, so, please send it in.

The whole time I made the graphics, I kept thinking of ways I could do that, but it's just not possible yet.

ROUND 1 is here guys! Version 2.0 of Guess the Video is up and running and everyone is excited and so happy. And here's another great thing, we are kicking it off with a themed round!!!!!!!! In this themed round, all 20 videos wither were nominated or won in the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. Some are easy and some are quite hard. Before we get to the videos, lets get to our new rules with version 2.0.

Remember, you can only send in guesses four (4) times. You must PM (personal message) me your guesses. You only get half credit if you give me just the artist. You get full credit if you give me both artist and song. You do not have to give me the year or album or all 20 videos. And one last thing, please enjoy it here and have fun.
