For those of you with a personal countdown.
I thought this would be a fun topic, even though it's probably been done before.
List songs that you regret having on your countdown, and regret not having or wish had done better.

Hmm. I'm not even going to cound the old school 2003-2004 Hitlist, because there are so many songs that I regret liking, so i'll just stick with some of my more recent incarnations...
Regrettable:
Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends
Incubus - Make A Move
Queens Of The Stone Age - In My Head
The Killers - All These Things That I've Done(what the **** was I THINKING here?)
311 - Don't Tread On Me(it even freaking retired.)
Blink-182 - Not Now
H.I.M. - Wings of a Butterfly
The Used - The Bird and the Worm
Linkin Park - What I've Done(I don't care if it was on for just a day or two, I still regret it.)
Aw, man...
The Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)
Keane - Everybody's Changing
Chevelle - Panic Prone
The White Stripes - My Doorbell
The White Stripes - The Denial Twist
Dredg - Bug Eyes
Foo Fighters - DOA
Foo Fighters - Miracle
HORSE the Band - Birdo(maybe the song I regret not retiring the most)
Madonna - Hung Up(I shafted this because it wasn't normally my cup of tea. God, I shouldn't have. I freaking love this song.)
AFI - The Missing Frame
Brand New - Sowing Season
Deftones - Mein(should have retired)
Papa Roach - Forever(I caught onto it too late.)
Billy Talent - Devil In a Midnight Mass
I can't think of many songs that I outright shafted altogether. I'll probably edit this.

I'm with Ryan: there's no point in listing 50% of my entire countdown from 2004, so these are for the most part recent atrocities.
Damn, These Songs Are So Terrible Now!
underOATH- In Regards to Myself (You're Ever so Inviting and Writing on the Walls are still ok)
The Almost- Say This Sooner
Three Days Grace- Animal I Have Become
HIM- Wings Of A Butterfly
Matchbook Romance- Monsters
Snow Patrol- Hands Open
The Rasmus- Shot
Tool- The Pot (There, I said it :-P)
Damn, These Songs Are So Good Now!
Panic! At The Disco- The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage
The Veronicas- Everything I'm Not & When It All Falls Apart
The Killers- When You Were Young
Shakira- Don't Bother
Switchfoot- Stars & We Are One Tonight
Senses Fail- American Death (which is funny, because every other one of their songs has done really well on my countdowns all the way back to Rum Is For Drinking, Not For Burning, much to pretty much everyone elses bane, I might add, but some how I completely skipped over this gem)
The Sounds- Song With A Mission
Every Time I Die- The New Black (was on, but should have retired)
Billy Talent- Red Flag
JamisonParker- Best Mistake
