That's seems REALLY bad for Katy but most people don't pre order an album when you've only heard one song so it doesn't really mean anything but still very surprising.

Mess. So GaGa has done in total so far around 25,000? On pre orders? Either way, dragging based on just pre orders sounds a bit desperate.

General editor from Billboard had already confirmed that pre-order is not big at all, so never overrate the sales.

Katy will have better pre-orders in a few weeks time, but go Miley. Good numbers for both.

I would be shocked if Bangerz opened with more than Prism.

I think this happens because Katy does not have that many crazy fans that'll buy anything she puts out(the ones jumping on her bandwagon to hate on Gaga are obviously not actual fans).Most of her listeners buy her music after they get to listen to it and like it.She'll crush Miley in the long run anyway,and maybe even GaGa.

Well, when the album went up for pre-order on Sunday morning, you were asked to purchase "Roar" to preorder the album. The problem was that most people who wanted to preorder had to "buy" Roar again (since most of them had it). That probably deterred people from preordering it. They've fixed the problem recently.

Since we rarely get this type of data it is hard to tell if this is good or not & how much it matters.

Why are people saying it's tragic for Katy when it's only 3K of a difference AND Katy is currently charting higher? Y'all do too much.
