It will be a countdown, not a rate. An official summation of who we think matters.

Lemme drop some complements first.

I think the guy who did this at Popjustice (Mnvl) did an amazing job. The graphics are out of this world, and the time he put into it is visible and appreciated.

But the results are disgusting.

I could only get 60 of 100 from the quiz, because my brain wouldn't allow me to conceive of some of the options that made it.

EDIT: It's pretty UK-biased, isn't it? I'd never guessed Sugababes, Girls Aloud or Siobhan Donaghy. I was typing names like Aretha Franklin, The Supremes, Rolling Stones, The Who and nothing. I'm done with this.

- a signature sound
- a signature voice
- an iconic look - something that was COPIED
- presence
- impact domestically/globally
- peer recognition
and last, but most importantly: someone who is truly, in their own way, incomparable/inimitable.

Also, if your list reads as a who who of the last fifteen years/top 40 radio, IT WILL NOT BE COUNTED.

Be diverse in your thinking.
