Hello to all! Welcome to my VERY FIRST year-end countdown here on ATRL, and for my favorite tracks of 2014! First off, this was in planning since late May and was initially supposed to be a list for my top 40 favorite songs, but it was cut to 30. Trust me, no songs were cut off the list*. The songs on this list were released as a single in 2014 or were released on an album in 2014. Anyway, many artists have numerous appearances on this list, whether as the main artist or as the featured artist. It will get a bit repetitive at times. So don't say I didn't, say I didn't warn ya.

10 Most Played Songs From 2014. Obviously about songs and singles released in 2014 that became one of my most played tracks. I will not be using my iTunes for the play count, I will be using my last.fm. The tracking period ended December 31, 2014.

My most played artists of 2014. Formulated via last.fm, And, note: songs that have featured artists will not have the plays count towards them. Ex: Miranda Lambert - Smokin' and Drinkin' (feat. Little Big Town) has 50 plays... well, those 50 plays will not be going towards Little Big Town. Tracking period ended December 31, 2014.

Yes. A category for video game compositions. Since I am a HUGE video game geek, why the **** not? Strictly for the games released in 2014. If a video game composition from a previously released game gets re-used, then it will not count, unless it's remixed.
Yes, a category named after the app, Timehop. As the app itself, it takes you back to posts you have made a year or more ago. For this, it will be a countdown of my favorite songs from the past that I've loved this year, including from the 2010s. Also, this is the only category in here that can have repeat songs in following years.
