Could VH1 be looking to expand the "Love & Hip Hop" brand with Miami rapper Trina?
During her visit with Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" DJ Envy asked if she was involved in a rumored a spin-off of the reality show, titled "Love & Hip Hop: Miami."
The question was a double whammy, as many had no clue that VH1 was even thinking about producing another installment of the popular series. But if the gossip is to be believed, then casting Trina as the lead would make sense. She's an established FeMC, and she hails from one of the hottest cities for hip-hop. The move would make perfect sense.
While Trina didn't flat out deny that such a show was in the works, she did say she wasn't exactly onboard for "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" just yet.
"I've talked about it. I'm not sure yet," she said. "I want to see how it goes. I just need to make sure that's something I'd want to actually do. What's it going to be?"
