I'm noticing that lately there aren't as many users posting on ATRL. Many threads fall into oblivion with just a few replies or get closed before they turn funny and messy. A lot of members seem to be banned, no longer participating, or confined to SYG and RT (which appear to be slower than they used be).

What do you think is happening? Did the forum peak in 2013-2014? Has the slow server turned members away? Are the 2015 members to blame?

There does seem to be a lot of threads locked and members banned, but ATRL will never be irrelevant.

Yeah, I've noticed a slowdown of posts. Perfectly reasonable threads are closed or deleted. And for what? Advertisers? Yeah money keeps things going but you get that money because people are on the site. You lose those people you lose the money. I'd rather pay a yearly fee and lose the ads and have less restrictions than to feel like I have to word myself like I'm talking to a sensitive baby.

ATRL declined when the old members deactivated and the 2013-2015 members launched a no trolling campaign.

People are busy with schools. Also the lack of release from major pop stars (except Adele) could explain it.

I think the lack of release from major pop girls is one big reason....also there's too much sensitivity when it comes to reporting something...then also I don't know...some old members don't really post anymore...maybe ATRL will have their 25 era in the future, who knows?

The amount of things that qualify as "flamebait" is ridiculous. The mods need to not give so many warnings to everything that don't really deserve them
