Middle school was more interesting. High school became a snoozefest and everyone making last minute memories toward the end to never meet each other again (unless you're close friends). I'm in college and I believe the best years are yet to come.
High school are good years of your life even if you did struggle with school, depression, bullying, boredom, etc. You learn and you grow a lot and it becomes almost crucial for you for the rest of your life.
It was no where near the best days of my life but I still cherish them. I struggled a lot but there were still good moments. I don't think anyone should totally discredit their HS experience just because they weren't the prom queen or whatever. I met my gf, learned my passion, had a lot of good memories, found out who I was, etc.
