It's time folks.
BUT FIRST ... :chenbot: ... here are some tidbits.
- As always with ATRL, it was a woman's year, with half of this year's list - 25 songs - coming from solo female artists making it.
- 3 seems to be the optimal number this year, with at least four artists having three songs place. Two are arguably the biggest male pop stars in the world; the other two released songs this year that sound startingly alike.
- However, the king/queen of the list this year has 3.5 or 4 songs placing - depending on how you view collaborations.
- Like last year, all of the eligible RoTY nominees placed on our list. (Empire State of Mind was last year's #14)
- Again, like last year, two songs come from reality show graduates. (One happens to be the first openly gay artist to make our list; the other ... well look at Duca's avatars.)
