well she's been signed to rocnation for a long time and has been in development ever since. they've spent the last couple years launching other artists first, particular j cole and alexis jordan. i suppose they waited until all the pieces were beginning to fall into place with rita before beginning her launch which began with her feature on the dj fresh single.
was a good decision to keep her in waiting for a couple years or i guess she could have flopped
