I don't even feel sorry for execs. They need to lower the price of albums. Who's going to buy a $13 CD when they can get the few tracks they want for less than $3? Everyone wants to blame the consumer, but these companies need to look inward.

$13 is the cheapest I've ever seen. Prices generally range from $12.99--$17.99.

CDs are generally cheaper here, but the point is that singles are still MUCH cheaper.

I sorta agree. I think prices need to come down. Aside from Gaga's CD's, I'm usually paying 13-25 dollars a CD!

I get that they need to net a good income, but I think they can afford a little decrease in their salaries, to make up for the long haul.

It'd be devastating to see the physical album era die.

TBH, I could buy much more albums if they were cheaper. That's going to happen soon anyway, when the Labels start realizing that people aren't buying albums.
