If you watch his interview on City TV he said if he had a conversation with a student and he believed they genuinely would be mentally healthy by being referred to as 'they' or 'them' he would absolutely do it. He said though if he was having a conversation who was some Halsey-type, justice warrior doing it for attention than he would not even think twice about doing it and just refer to them as whatever gender they express as.

You can't deny who a person has sex with, that is an actual fact.

The FACTS here are that there are two genders, and to say that you're both, neither, or can change on a whim because of societal standards like clothing, make-up, etc. that have no actual bearing on masculinity or femininity, is completely ridiculous and a total special-snowflake move.
