Both albums have sold around the same. Circus had better singles while self titled had a bigger tour. Which era was bigger in your opinion and why?

Beyonce's bigger overall. Circus was a forgettable era that's why it won no Grammy awards unlike the Beyonce album.

I guess Beck's album is bigger than all of Xtina's albums combined.

Too bad the local era had a tour that grossed 180m outside the US that was 30~40m more than the Circus Tour worldwide gross. Seems like those global singles didn't help at all, maybe Britney should upload her tour to iTunes and sell it for $1.29 so she could have a successful GLOBAL tour.

Circus was a flop for 2008, when Beyoncé had an album that sold 7.5m in the same time vs 3.5m of Circus.

Voted for Circus by accident But BEYONCE is bigger considering it being released in 2013.. While Circus is 2008 i believe? BEYONCE would have sold more if it was released in 2008.

TMCSWT is not supported by any album... Bey did that tour only because she just did the SB and she have to milk the exposure the SB provided for her.

Circus had WW hit singles Bey did not. Only DIL and it was local and I dont think it even sold 2 milli considering digital sales weren't that bad two years ago that's not too impressive.

ITZ had the same amount of promo as DIL and yet Beyoncé outsold her. Britney was in decline since her first album, not matter how much promo she did, her album sales would always be lower than the previous one. Y'all were just lucky she didn't promote that much, cause it can be used as an excuse for the era underperformance.
