"It's kind of a juxtaposition. It's got me, a pop artist, with a little bit of an urban kind of hip-hop-flavored background soundtrack to it, and the lyrics are kind of witchy and dark, as if I was a witch warning this man not to fall in love with me, and if you do know I'm going to be your last," Perry revealed of the Dr. Luke- and Max Martin-produced track, which she wrote with her friend Sarah Hudson in her hometown of Santa Barbara, California. She went on to describe it as having a "witchy, spell-y kind of black magic-y idea."
"I just did something with Katy Perry, man. That song is amazing," Juicy J told MTV News. "She's very professional, everything went smooth and she's a great person. My verse I did on that song, she was singing it." Heaping even more praise on the 'Teenage Dreams' star, Juicy J said: "She's really a genius, she was by the mixing board and telling the guy what to take in and take out. She's really hands-on with her music, she knows music."
"Dark Horse" features a Juicy J cameo. Although the song title "Dark Horse" has already been revealed to fans, nothing can prepare KatyCats for "Prism's" snapping trap anthem, which features the only vocal guest star on the 12 new songs, Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J. Before the Oscar-winning MC spits his usual rapid-fire flow, Perry guides the grimy, incredibly simplistic production with questions like "Are you ready for a perfect storm?" Perry told Billboard following the listening session that "Dark Horse" was produced by Dr. Luke (who executive produced Juicy J's new "Stay Trippy" album) and Max Martin.
Well at the very end of the snippet there is a deep voice that appears. I had assumed that it was just Katy's voice pitch-shifted, but it could be a man like Juicy J.
I'm more interested in this "Sarah Hudson" tho tbh
Can anybody go on EMI or ASCAP and see who wrote both Dark Horse and Walking on Air. I was almost sure that Diplo produced this..

She's a song writer for Prescription songs I'm pretty sure, I know she's part of Luke's team. Somewhat of a Bonnie McKee-lite.
