the NES Classic gives me hope that they'll adopt Linux and stop using their slow proprietary OS
I mean they already decided to switch™ things up by having a Nvidia GPU (thank **** they abandoned ATI) which is pretty unorthodox of Nintendo considering Nvidia's heavy dedication to gaming, so anything could happen.
But jesus christ yes please let someone else make the Switch's OS. Heck let someone else make the whole damn thing lol.
The price for the switch leaked.
It's most likely going to be 250.
There might be 2 SKUs so there's a possibility we're getting another model that's more expensive or cheaper.

Watch Nintendo **** over the UK by letting retailers set their RRP yet again and have it be £250+.
Is it necessary? I get worried that it won't arrive on launch day if I pre-order, like what happened with Xenoblade Chronicles X. (And y'all know I'm such a XCX stan, so I was so mad )

People are expecting the presentation to slay and everyone rushing out to preorder.
After the whole Nintendo Classic fiasco everyone's a little worried.
Even the Wii U had an artificial scarcity in its first few weeks.

Lmao, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo thought THAT was why the Wii smashed so hard, because of all the "sold out" headlines upon launch. The annoying thing is that they'd never learn from something like this, because people that want to dish out $250 on a console aren't just going to not bother because it's out of stock at the time, they'll still buy it sooner or later so there's no decline in sales from it.
