No chart leak so far this week, so this list uses estimated sales. I'll update it if we do get the actual sales.
WEEK 51
albums selling over 2,000,000 - this year - 3 / last year - 4
albums selling over 1,000,000 - this year - 11 / last year - 12
albums selling over 500,000 - this year - 45 / last year - 48
albums selling over 250,000 - this year - 128 / last year - 139
total albums sales - this year - 322.86m (+1.0%) / last year - 319.01m
2 Christmas albums by 2 Canadian acts are the big movers in the top ten on this week's list: Michael Buble's "Christmas" up from #3 to #2 and Justin Bieber's "Under The Mistletoe" up from #10 to #7. Also making headway in the top 50: Coldplay #14, Scotty McCreery #17, Adele's "19" #19, The Band Perry #26, Tony Bennett #28, Luke Bryan #36, Nickelback #39, Maroon 5 #43, and new to the top 50 at #45 "Now 40". All 4 of 2011's regular "Now" releases are now in the top 50.
Another 2 Christmas albums enter the YTD top 100 this week: Jackie Evancho's "Heavenly Christmas" at #97 and the Glee Cast's "Christmas Album 2" at #99. Both acts also released Christmas titles in 2010 and were the 2nd and 3rd best selling Christmas albums behind Susan Boyle's "The Gift": Jackie Evancho's "O Holy Night EP" finished at #13 on 2010's year end with sales of 1,010,000 and the Glee Cast's first Christmas collection finished at #16 on sales of 917,000. Also new to the top 100 this week is Toby Keith's "Clancy's Tavern" at #91. His 2010 BB200 #1 album "Bullets In The Gun" failed to make last year's Year-End top 100. Evanescence's "Evanescence" makes it's second appearance at #100 after a 2 week gap.
Adele's "21" sold 352,000 in week 8 to debut at #2 on this list - it moved to #1 the following week and has stayed there since. This week was its biggest sales week at 399,000 - it was also her 2008 debut albums biggest ever sales week with "19" selling 71,000. That album appeared at #62 on the first top 100 YTD list in this thread back in week 9.
60 of the top 100 albums are 2011 releases, with 35 from 2010, just 1 from 2009 and 4 from 2008.

Well, you asked if it was U.S
The title says US
so I thought it wasn't really clear, so I clarified.. what's the problem...
Anyways, I can't at Adele selling almost 6...
I can imagine her selling much more if it wasn't for Buble.
