It's arguably the most famous magazine in the world following the hit documentary made in its honour. But the September issue of American Vogue is proving unpopular with US postal workers who are suffering due to the publication's record-breaking size.
Weighing in at a hefty 4.5 pounds, with 916 pages - 658 of which are ads - the Lady Gaga-covered fashion bible is not only too chubby to squeeze into many US mailboxes (leaving frustrated subscribers with a trip down to the depot to collect it themselves), but lugging it about is quite the headache backache for the poor posties.
Huffington Post report that one postmistress they canvassed about the magazine's decidedly un-model-like proportions exclaimed "[It's] so heavy!"
"Thirteen years," she said pointing to a swollen bump on her elbow, "You see all the swelling here, because of that kind of magazine.'
"You get a building like this, I have to go upstairs, I have to open the door. I cannot use both hands."
With over a million subscribers, that's a lot of achy posties.
The US Postal Service was quick to respond with a statement stressing its sheer joy at the chance to deliver any magazine, no matter how big or small: "It's what we do," a spokesperson explained.
Well, at least it's very refreshing to note their healthy stance on the fashion industry's ongoing body image debate - whatever the frontline workers may secretly feel.
