Katy extends record on Dance/Club Play Songs
PERFECT 10: While Katy Perry waits patiently behind Jepsen on the Hot 100, as "Wide Awake" bullets at No. 3, Perry takes over the record for the most consecutive No. 1s on the Dance/Club Play Songs chart, where "Awake" becomes her 10th straight leader (2-1).
After her first entry on the tally, "I Kissed a Girl," peaked at No. 25 (and led the Hot 100 for seven weeks), follow-up "Hot N Cold" managed a lukewarm No. 33 peak (and rose to No. 3 on the Hot 100). Since, all of Perry's Dance/Club Play Songs hits have reigned, beginning with "Waking Up in Vegas" the week of Aug. 22, 2009. Her streak continued with "California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg), "Teenage Dream," "Peacock," "Firework," "E.T.," "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," "The One That Got Away" and "Part of Me" prior to "Awake."

It's just sooooo difficult to keep up with the Queen's overflowing number of #1s. Sigh, #KatyStanProblems.

GaGa got all her singles, except Just Dance (reached #2), @ #1 on Dance chart. She has 11 consecutive #1s, including Judas and MTN, your point? Who is the real Queen of the Dance chart?
And of course her next lead single will #1 on Dance chart too. She will have 12

Actually, "Monster" charted and peaked at #29 following "Alejandro", and therefore breaks her streak in half. She'll have two streaks of six.

Gaga did it in three eras (or 2.5), Katy did it in 2. Katy's first era's sound wasn't dance, whereas Gaga has always been a dance artist. So really Katy did it in one dance oriented era while Gaga did it in three.
But anyways, Gaga and Katy are both dance chart royalty.

Can you stop trolling now? Thanks. Bye.
Anyway, even if it's not the best #1 in the world, still a #1.

I never knew that...but BB doesn't count it and says she has a streak
Anyways, there was no need to bring Gaga into this...just congragulate Katy and move on
