Today you will get a taste of my top 30 songs of 2006. Today you will get 30 - 21, tomorrow 20 - 11, and then on Friday 10 - 1. They all come with critiques.
On Deck:
35.Beyonce - Ring the Alarm
34.Pink - U + Ur Hand
33.Nick Lachey - What's Left Of Me
32.Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten
31.Sean Paul - Temperature
30.
Nelly Furtado - Say It Right
- This is a great song that means something to a lot of people. To me it means that we all have choices to make and that we need to make the right ones. This song came out late this year and so it didn't make it that high, but who knows for 2007.
29.
Rihanna - Unfaithful
- I think that this song is a good summer beat for everyone. If you've ever had someone cheat behind your back then this song is just for you. This was one of the many hits of the summer of 06' and it was a hit with me too.
28.
Hinder - Lips of an Angel
- I first hated this song, but somehow it came back and made me like it. I think that is also a great song if you've ever had someone you love move on, but they still want you. I think this song has still some more power behind it to take #1 somewhere.
27.
Justin Timberlake - My Love
- I liked this song, but I overplayed it way too much and so that's why it's so low on my year end countdown, but it's a good song overall.
26.
Pink - Stupid Girls
- A hilarious video with a great song. I guess making fun of other stars does help a career. This song was a hit in April and still is with me today.
25.
the Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California
- A great song of the summer. I guess you can sing a song about California in so many different ways and still make a hit out of it. A true song for me.
24.
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
- Having a song from a hit show does help. Coming from Grey's Anatomy to topping some of the greatest charts, this song is a great song and a true hit.
23.
Beyonce - Check On It
- This was a year dominated by Beyonce in however you want to look at it. A good song from a good movie. I can still remember me and my friend Megan singing this nonstop back in February.
22.
Fergie - Fergalicious
- This song is just now starting to make its way through my school, but I liked it back in November. A sexy, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory video helps this songs status become a hit of the season and year.
21.
JoJo - Too Little Too Late
- It's dominating the Weekend Top 30 on 105.7 and it's dominating this countdown as it finishes at #21. I like this song partially because of the video for it which is great.
