This is my first ATRL countdown as it is my first year with you all here! 
I thought that instead of doing merely a list of the things I like best from 2010 that I would do a best of my itunes so that you could all get to know me, my taste in music and my taste in well...life a little better. I am not just a pop fan and I want to show that I have quite diverse music tastes.

Top 10 Albums of 2010
10. Light Me Up - The Pretty Reckless
What a huge surprise from Little J! I had no intention of buying this album when I first heard about it but after hearing 'Make Me Wanna Die' I was completely sold and have no regrets. It's nice to see some real metal being made once again and being made kind of popular. I hate her style but I love her voice, I'd say this band are definitely one to watch.
Hits - Make Me Wanna Die, Miss Nothing, My Medicine
Misses - (the whole album if you hate rock)
9. Kanye West - My Dark Twisted Fantasy
Now before anyone tells me off for not having this album higher on the list, first of all I am not a huge rap fan by any means so for me to really like a rap album is a big deal. Eminem and Kid Rock don't count because they rule. I am only starting to really get into this album but I do get what the big deal is about. I hate Kanye West, he is a complete asshat but you gotta give credit where it's due, he is very talented.
Hits: Runaway, Power.
Misses: Need to get more into the whole album before I judge this.
8. Shakira - Sale El Sol
Let's be honest, if you don't like Shakira there is something not quite right. A great person, great singer with fun music and killer dance moves. How could you not love her. I love this album, it's her best since Laundry Service in my opinion and I played that album to deat.
Hits: Loca, Gordita, Rabiosa
Misses: Nothing in particular but my Spanish isn't that great so it's hard to get the full enjoyment from this album..
7. Lady Gaga - The Remix
While I am by no means a fan of remix albums, I think they are a bit of a cop-out, I do love this. Gaga songs are perfect for club remixes. They are well produced and chosen, I wish there were so remixes of her lesser known songs but I can't really complain. A perfect party album. Everyone knows the words but the beats have a bit more oomph. The best remix album since 'B in the Mix'.
Hits: All.
Misses: None. (unless you hate remixes)
6. Rihanna - LOUD
Nanananana Come On! I was a bit skeptical for this album, it took a long time for Rated R to grow on me and I thought LOUD would be the same. While I have never liked every song on a Rihanna album this comes pretty close. You can hear the colours in the music and in my opinion that is pretty special in any music. Well done RiRi, you've made me want to upgrade to stan.
Hits: Only Girl (In the World), S&M, California King Bed, Complicated
Misses: Man Down, Raining Men
5. Ke$ha - Cannibal
Love her or hate her you cannot deny that Ke$has dancey tunes and trashy lyrics have embedded themselves in your brain. Say what you wish about this glitterball when a Ke$ha song comes on you dance like there is no tomorrow. Cannibal comes out just in time for the Christmas/New Year party season and will dance us well into 2011. (the album cover is hideous, I refuse to use it.)
Hits: Cannibal, Grow a Pear, Blow, Sleazy
Misses: CUNXT
4. Teenage Dream - Katy Perry
The sophmore album from the cutest pop star of the year brings hit after hit. With quite a style shake up from the amazing One of the Boys I wasn't sure how I would like this but the formula works. The music is fun and summery and the aesthetics with this whole era are flawless. This was the soundtrack of my Summer and part of Autumn and I am sure it will make a resurgence on my top played list come June again.
Hits: Firework, Last Friday Night (TGIF), Teenage Dream, Peacock
Misses: Not Like the Movies, Who Am I Living For?
3. Bionic - Christina Aguilera
I could really care less what the blind followers of the charts and what is cool have to say, this was a great futuristic pop album and I played it to death. I can almost guarantee that 90% of the people slamming this album haven't even listened to it. Your loss guys.
Hits: Bionic, Elastic Love, Prima Donna, Desnudate, You Lost Me, I Am
Misses: Sex For Breakfast, Glam
2. Can't Be Tamed - Miley Cyrus
This album turned me from a Miley hater to a Miley lover. I love the image, the music, the attitude and I can really relate to her which is probably why I've fallen so in love with this album. A lot of people are too quick to judge Disney girls. Well they are missing out on some great music.
Hits: My Heart Beats For Love, Stay, Two More Lonely People, Robot
Misses: Forgiveness & Love
1. Taylor Swift - Speak Now

Many people guessed it and sure enough my album of the year, by far, is by the fabulous Ms. Swift. i had high hopes for this album and good god did it deliver. More mature lyrics, finally talking about issues that stem beyond the bedroom of a 16 year old girl and being more adventurous musically. This album totally deserved the success it has garnered and Taylor Swift is one of the few artists of our time that truly deserves all the success and love she gets, she is always gracious and always grateful. The only artist (other than Gaga) who has never given me a song that I do not love. I could care less about the people slamming her, critics and sales disagree you are clearly just scared for your faves. Let's see your fave write an album entirely on their own, not even one co-wrtier, and then sell a million in the first week 
Hits: Enchanted, Haunted, Last Kiss, Long Live, Dear John, Speak Now, Mean, Better than Revenge (basically the whole album)
Misses: Taylor does not ever miss

I'm not cocky, I just love myself bitchh! A great fun song, if this song doesn't make you realise that she doesn't take herself too seriously, nothing will.
49. Barbara Streisand - Duck Sauce
The catchiest and most infectious song of the year, even if it is dumb and repetitive, you just can't help singing it 3 hours later at the most awkward time possible.
48. Girls Fall Like Dominoes - Nicki Minaj
What a great artist to come into their own this year, I love this song. The sample is perfect and the verses are pure fire.
47. Rabiosa (Ft. Pitbull) - Shakira
She is so hot. End of. Come get a little closer and bite me on la boca.
46. All Night Long (Ft. Pitbull) - Alexandra Burke
Now I do not like this girl but I love this song. A great one for getting in the party mood. And I love Pitbull.
