The store has a policy limiting the amount that can be charged on a customer's credit card for gift cards. We're told the limit is $200, and that was the basis of Zendaya's discussion. The store adds the manager made an accommodation and allowed the singer to get $400 worth of gift cards.
She isn't lying. Of course it would be cringeworthy to your racist ass, considering you've never experienced this. I, as a black person, have experienced exactly what she is talking about.
If you're not black you wouldn't understand... And if they were at WALMART I could definitely see this happening because they have a rule to only hire TRASH.
I know what she is talking about. Sometimes ppl do subtle racism like this. It can be considered just being rude but generally if someone is rude to you for no reason it is because they have a stereotype about you in their mind and it is usually a racially charged stereotype.
