Paloma Faith was reduced to tears by Boy George during a bitter row over a contestant on The Voice .
In auditions which will be aired on the new BBC series of the show, George branded her “bitchy” and “rude” when they both pitched for the same singer to join their teams.
It all kicked off when George was talking for a long time, and Paloma pretended to sleep and started snoring.
Paloma, 34, then said it was banter, but he didn’t see the funny side.
Boy George, 54, said: “You said you weren’t going to be bitchy and you’re being bitchy.
“You’ve probably got PMT or something, you were extremely rude.
“If you choose Paloma she will probably fall asleep while you sing.”
George, who has given rival judge the nickname “Palaver”, then took a swipe at her when he told a guy that he should come on his team because unlike Paloma, he’s had number one hits in America.
